INSPIRING HOPE THROUGH ACTION
The ministries of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mandeville work together to bring the love and mission of Christ to life across our communities. Through Evangelization, we spread the Gospel and nurture discipleship; through Education, we shape minds and hearts grounded in faith and service; through Housing, we provide shelter and restore dignity to families in need. Alongside these, our Health, Youth, and other pastoral ministries embody the Church’s commitment to compassion, justice, and holistic human development — ensuring that every act of service becomes a sign of God’s enduring love.

Living the Gospel Through Mission and Service
The Evangelization and Mission of the Catholic Diocese of Mandeville expresses the Church’s call to share the Gospel and serve the spiritual and human needs of communities across Clarendon, Manchester, and St. Elizabeth. With its commitment to being a synodal Church, the Diocese of Mandeville strives to be inclusive, ensuring that everyone receives attention as the Church proclaims the Gospel. The Diocese carries out this mission through various ministries, including Catechesis, Youth, Retreats, Outreach and Resource, Lifelong Formation and Training, and Education.

Evangelization
Evangelization is carried out through parish life, catechesis, youth and family ministry, and ongoing faith formation. At the same time, the Diocese embraces a broader missionary responsibility by supporting initiatives that uplift individuals and communities, particularly the vulnerable and marginalized.

Education
Education plays a vital role in the mission of the Catholic Diocese of Mandeville. Through its schools, scholarship initiatives, and educational support programs, the Diocese works to nurture both the minds and hearts of young people across Clarendon, Manchester, and St. Elizabeth rooted in Catholic values.

Outreach & Resource
In an indirect yet impactful way, the Diocese is engaged in mission work and, by extension, evangelization through its outreach to those in need—providing shelter, food, school supplies, booklists, clothing, limited healthcare through its clinics, and school fee assistance in some parish projects.
